Fernanda Quiñones (Guadalajara, 1987), in her first exhibition with Óleogram – Art Gallery, presents -Alas e hilos-, a collection of unpublished works that exude an intimate approach to the artist's experiences strongly linked to her personal memories and most recent experiences.

Her paintings of women mixed with insects or birds are allegories that reflect on the experimentation of the deepest human emotions and the natural environment around her. Through a quasi-magical language, the pictorial exhibition invites the viewer to focus on the human potentialities of "strength" and "resilience", while exploring her splendid bond with nature and her dependence on it.

For this series, Fernanda Quiñones oil paintings are instinctive and dreamy, by using soft colors on large canvases the result floods us with sensitive but enigmatic images. Each of the works evoke intuition that the artist translates with imagination. In -Alas e hilos- the connection between strength and love is made present symbolized through the woman, her being and her feeling in poetic resonance that crystallizes her emotions in an environment in synergy with nature.

The exhibition offers the opportunity to appreciate the artist's intentions when she captures the tension, adaptability, transformation and evolution outlined in the development of wings, feathers, shells and shells as a metaphor for our everyday life.

"This collection is inspired by valuing life and its wonders... even the smallest beings of nature offer us valuable teachings, just like the butterfly that does not lose its colors or stop flying due to a bad day, quite the opposite, it knows that flying is part of its life, of its process and development"
